Oldie but Goodie

Sorry, I do not have a lot of time today so I thought I would post something I did awhile back. This is a gift I made for the workers of our Bible School when the theme was jungle. It is a dry eraser board. This is a half sheet of card stock covered with a laminating sheet. The marker is held on with velcro tabs. I put a magnet on the back to hold it on the frig (or anything metal).

I stamped the Thanks a bunch right above my name stamp on the back. I printed the God loves me a bunch! from my pc.
Stamps: Monkey Business
Paper: Vanilla
Ink: Garden Green, Chocolate Chip, Summer Sun, Ruby Red

Double Doodles

My schedule this week has been over flowing! Every morning I get up and say I have to make a card! The time was not there. Today I said enough is enough, I was going to make a card! I tried to combine as many of the challenges on SCS that I could so lets see:
Monday's Challenge: Technique-Since this was to make a 3x3 card, I skipped this one.
Tuesday's Color Challenge: Apricot Appeal, Tempting Turquoise, Rose Red, Green Galore accent.
Wednesday's Sketch Challenge: Love it!
Thursday's Way's to Use it Challenge: Use Small Stamps (Which worked great with this layout!)
Friday's Limited Supplies: Use a flower stamp. I used my flowers in the background and made my heart into a flower.
WHEW!

Wide Open Pickup

I need to use these trucks as much as I can before they retire in July. I've only had them a month or so and just love them. Today's challenge on SCS was to leave wide open spaces. That was hard for me as I always feel I have to fill it up. I also had to use some of the new Palette O' Prints Paper.

Stamps: Classic Pickup, Label Classics
Paper: More Mustard, Whisper White, Palette O' Prints, So Saffron
Ink: More Mustard, Bashful Blue, Going Grey, Basic Brown

Pumpkin Flowers

Today's challenge on SCS was the Ways to Use is Challenge. The challenge was to make a card using a window sheet. This was not my original idea but I guess it was where I ended up. I created this card backwards. I started with window sheet, then did the pumpkin flowers. An after thought was the oval punch and words, then I decided to round the corners. Hey, it got done! I then thought it needed something on the outside. So I colored the flower and spritzed it with water to give it a weathered look and stuck it on with a glue dot.

Stamps: Doodle This, Warmest Regards
Paper: Apricot Appeal, Pumpkin Pie, Window Sheet
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, White Stazon
Accessories: Apricot Grosgrain, Oval Punch, Corner Rounder Punch

Pink Monkey

Well, since I had a migraine yesterday I had to combine Monday's Color Challenge and Tuesday's Sketch Challenge on SCS. The migraine was not due to the fact that I got hit major from the SU! retiring list. I lost 43 sets and 6 wheels not including all the hostess sets. That was over half for me... The retiring accessories list will be announced on June 20th. I tried to use only the sets that did not retire for these challenges. Thankfully I have 3 nieces and a daughter who have birthdays this month. I spilled the brads trying to close the lid, so they hung out for the picture. Believe me I never would of done that on purpose! The monkey is embossed. I used the stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the shadow on the words and the spritzing tool for the background. I also sponged around the edges.

Stamps: Aida Cloth BG, Monkey Business, Loads of Love, Sincere Salutations
Paper: Pink Passion, Basic Black, Whisper White
Ink: White Craft, Basic Black, Pink Passion Craft, Markers-Pink Passion,Pixie Pink
Accessories: Clear EP, Spritzer, Stamp-a-ma-jig, Black Gingham Ribbon, Black Brads, Tool kit for Piercing, White gel pen
